Nazarene Compassionate Ministries of Lanka (NCM Lanka) is a Voluntary Service organization registered under the Ministry of Social service (FL-103714) as a Non- Governmental organization in Sri Lanka. NCM Lanka serves vulnerable communities around Sri Lanka in various capacities such as Child Development, Disaster Response, Health Care, HIV/AIDS and few special projects. NCM Lanka has been functioning in Sri Lanka since 2000 and mainly focusing in the areas of "Child Focused Community Development Programme" (CFCDP) and Disaster Response.
NCM Lanka has been working with local people in the community in grass root level in order to see long-term transformation and sustainable development. Projects are owned by beneficiaires and they are involved in all levels of planning, decision making, implementation and monitoring.
NCM Lanka is currently serving arround 2,100 children through 19 CFCDPs in Central, Uva, Eastern, Northern, North-Western and Western provinces. Project locations are selected according to where the need is greatest; focus is on the poorest of the poor and those who are not yet receiving help from others.
